It's okay not to be okay.

Find out who you are and do it on purpose.

- Dolly Parton

Healing takes a lot of reflection, strength and honesty. We have to look at our actions and our reactions. We have to truly ask how we are feeling, and explore the response. Sometimes we get it right, and sometimes it can go devastatingly wrong.

During those moments, when that critical inner voice rears its head to validate your worst thoughts, try to remember this - that voice is the biggest fiction writer there is. The fact that you are on a healing journey speaks volumes about who you really are. A person that wants to heal. A person willing not only to start the process, but continue the healing journey through the earth shattering realisations, the breakthroughs, the revelations. Know you are not alone, and know that it is okay to not be okay. We are all souls having a very human experience. It is hard, but it is worth every tear, every frustration, every doubt. The lessons we learn are teaching us for a reason.

Externally remember that others reactions are a reflection of their unhealed trauma. These are not your burdens to carry.

So hold in your heart, that you will stumble and you may fall, and that is okay. Breath. Know that you deserve healing. Choose you.
