Guided meditation for energy.

Start by sitting comfortably, either on the floor, or on a chair.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, feeling your chest rise, and let it all go with a sigh.
Take another deep breath in, and as you let it all out with a sigh, create space by pulling your shoulders back and down away from your ears.
As you take another deep breath in, imagine a thread at the crown of your head, being drawn skywards, creating length and straightening your spin, allowing you to sit up tall.
Allow the natural rhythm of your breathing to flow through your body. Centre your awareness on your breathing.
As you breathe in, your belly expands, and as you breathe out your belly contracts. Follow the flow of your breath cycle. Resting your awareness here, on the gentle rhythm.
Now observe your body, notice any tensions arising, any stresses, and imagine breathing down into these tensions, softening and creating space for them to easy away.
Now feel yourself present within your body.
Imagine a pool, deep with rich abundant energy.
Imagine the glistening light bouncing off the surface of the pool of energy.
Imagine standing with your toes hanging over the edge of that vast pool of energy.
Visualise in your mind the ripples from a cooling breeze, feel the sun beating down, coating your skin in a bath of warmth, and imagine what it will feel like to connect with that pool of energy right in front of you.
Feel yourself stepping from the edge into that cool, rippling, lively, pool of energy.
Feel the energy rising up over your feet, covering your ankles, rising up your shins and calves, reaching your knees, rising to your thighs, reaching the base of your spin, covering your hips. Pause here to feel the sensation of the cooling pool of energy, making your body feel alive as it covers and fills you. Rising up past your belly, over your chest, down into your arms, and rising up your neck, as you tilt your face up to the sky, and allow the cooling pool of energy to fill the crown of your head.
You allow your feet to lift, your body submerged and supported, as you float weightlessly in the pool of energy.
Feel how this buzzing, vibrant, deep, rich, abundant pool of energy surrounds and fills you.
Feel how your body becomes alive, nourished and energised by the continued flowing of this pool of energy, around and through you.
Pause and invite yourself to breath into this feeling. Recognising that you are igniting and reconnection to your true vigorous self.
See the energy intensify, as you breathe easily, cleansing and clearing, making your body feel alive.
Feel a calm and clarity activity wash over you, allowing freedom to flow throughout your body.
Bring your awareness to your core, feel that deep, rich, vibrant pool of energy ignite right here inside you. See it glowing and growing. Every inhale sees the glow brighten, and every exhale sees it grow, expanding out beyond your body, surrounding you in a sphere of endless energy.
Allow yourself to rest here in this expanse of radiant, vibrant energy that shines from within you.
Take a deep breath in and hold for a few seconds, and then let it all go with a cleansing, energising sigh.
Imagine the sphere now contracting back down breathing life into your core, where it will nourish, nurture and energise you.
Now begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
As you take a deep inhale, reach your arms up to the sky, hold at the top, feeling that energy flow throughout your body. And as you exhale feel how alive and invigorated your body is.
Slowly open your eyes.
Bring your hands to pray position at your hearts centre, and thank yourself for taking the time today to energise and reconnect with yourself.
